RighTime® Home Services, a leading provider of air conditioning, heating, indoor air quality and plumbing services in Southern California, has announced a fourth annual partnership with the Salvation Army of Riverside through the annual Angel Tree program. The Angel Tree program, held each December, supports local underprivileged children by providing items on their holiday wish list. This holiday season, RighTime has “adopted” the wish lists of sixty children to be fulfilled by the team. The Angel Tree will also be displayed at RighTime’s Riverside headquarters, located at 3030 Myers St.
More than 1 million children receive necessities and toys through The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program. The Angel Tree program provides clothing, wished-for items and other special gifts to children who are less fortunate. Tags are displayed on an “angel tree,” showcasing the children’s wish lists to be fulfilled.
“The Angel Tree Program has become a special tradition in our office, one our employees truly look forward to,” said Randy Quantarrow, General Manager of RighTime Home Services. “The holidays should be a special time for all, and knowing that we bring a bit of joy and cheer to local families who are less fortunate makes this program that much more important to us.”
Every year, The Salvation Army helps nearly 30 million people, roughly one person per second. Donations provide more than 10 million nights of shelter, roughly 58 million meals, and after-school and substance abuse programs. During the holiday season, nearly 4.2 million people rely on The Salvation Army to provide their families with warm meals on Christmas Day or toys for their children.
